Last night, I binge-watched the first season (8 episodes) of a new animated series called Close Enough. Without spoiling anything, I found it to be a fun show but it was at its best when weird things occurred during each episode. I think that the creator, J G Quintel, and his crew are onto something and, with more creative freedom, could create something truly brilliant. If you're planning to cancel your Netflix subscription this month, at the very least, give this series a viewing before you do. It's well worth your time.

Think of it this way - so many series have had interesting characters and stories to tell and, for whatever reason, couldn't reach (what I'd consider) their full potential. A look in my [Favorites] can show you the tip of the iceberg of what I'd like to see, if not include, in a future project. If anything can happen in the worlds of anime-tion, comics/manga, film, video games, it should, particularly if it's entertaining and/or (strangely) enlightening to the viewer/player.

Weird can be wondrous if done well.

With the recent purchase of 20th Century Fox by Disney, I'm wondering if a 'spiritual successor' to Who Framed Roger Rabbit? can be (collaboratively) written before any other conglomerates get swallowed up. Not only could the final product (be it film/series or otherwise) (re)introduce obscure characters/franchises to a modern audience but it could also add depth to their animated world(s).

But here's the tricky part - because of how the medium has evolved over the decades (with quite a few series featuring male characters as main ones), I'm wondering if the 'star' of the show should be female. It could be another character 'Trapped in TV Land' or an un(der)used character carving her own path in life, but her adventure(s) could add a new definition to the 'epic sagas' that usually appear.

Feel free to chime in on this, folks.  There is a lot that can be with this idea (alongside the usual merchandising and flashy-to-the-point-of-deceptive advertisements) to make it entertaining for its target audience (including children who have long since grown up).

The more distractions we have from (if not rewards for fixing) the foolishness plaguing our world, the better off we'll all be.

May this year be better than (and not our) last one.

Hey everyone,

Just thought I'd spread the word about a friend in need. ^^;

There is a talented artist over on FurAffinity going by the name of Sigma-XX.

His gallery can be found here -> www.furaffinity.net/user/sigma…
and his older works here -> www.furaffinity.net/user/sigma… (Note: Both links NSFW) ^^;

His city was recently slammed by Hurricane Maria. He survived the disaster but he's hoping to receive some commissions so that he can get back on his feet.

If you would like to help, please visit his gallery and note him.

If you can't (ie you're strapped for cash), that's okay too, but please spread the word about his troubles.

With the number of grinches plaguing our world, at the moment, we could *all* use some holiday cheer.

Thank you for reading, folks.

May all of our holidays be happy ones.

What would the world (if not the universe) be like if it worked your (characters') way? Would it be a self-sustaining utopia, a cartoonish surreality or even a bureaucratic nightmare where only those with forms filed in quadruplicate continue to exist (much less thrive)?

How would your character(s) (or even your favorite licensed ones) react to small changes in his/her/their anatomy? Would Creepie Creecher make a good fairy? Would the various superheroines and villainesses learn to enjoy their boobhands or velcro lips?

How would you interpret a Goddess of Fetishes who

- can grant your every wish
- will gladly obey your every command
- knows how to fulfill your every whim, desire, fetish and fantasy
- wants to reward humanity (if not all life) for its 'loyalty'

May these inquiries fan the flames of your imagination.

*goes back to pondering possible crossovers and the 'ships' they allow to 'sail'*

If our fondest wishes were truly granted, would any of us be happy?
No oppression, greed, corruption - life would be a lot less crappy
There would be no (radioactive) pollution, extinct animals would, again, roam
Everyone would have a household, noone need ever be alone

We work hard for what have and/or goals we move(d) toward
yet there are some things we cannot receive as payment or reward
If we could fly, reshape ourselves, visit all that we could see,
would we, all desires fulfilled, smile openly?

(Perhaps, as the days pass, we shall see)

Enjoy the holidays, folks.
